Ori Niv: Over 60% of the houses in River Park have been sold

At what stage is the River Park project?

We started construction on the 6th of August, 2020 and ten months later we are extremely happy with how far we’ve come. The construction is going entirely according to plan. A few days ago, we received Act 14 certification for 47 of the houses. We expect to receive the certificates for the rest soon as well. This is the technical part. But we are extremely happy because we see that what we thought of and imagined is becoming a reality and the people in Bulgaria truly appreciate this project. Our sales are going very well, we have already sold more than 60% of the houses. I am always optimistic in my plans, but this surpassed my expectations.

Tell us more about what kind of people are interested in the project.

The people interested in the project are mostly young families, most of them buying house to live there. This is important to us because they are the most significant aspect of River Park. They are the ones who will create a community here. The main idea and the whole planning of this project is focused on what it will look like after we finish the construction - how people will live here, what facilities they will need.

How is River Park focused on creating a community and a high quality of life?

This project’s main value is the quality of life of the people here. The idea was born long before the COVID pandemic, but this last year has shown us more than ever that in order to live life to the fullest, we need a community around us. We have more than 100,000 square meters of green areas where children can play, where adults can play sports outdoors, and people with pets have special places for their dogs.

The houses are as far away from each other as possible to create the feeling that you live in nature. You can get from the complex to the city center in only 15 minutes, but everything here is so green that it feels like you are far away in nature. When you step out of your living room, your garden is completely even so you can enjoy every square meter of your property.

A mountain stream flows within the boundaries of River Park and we will invest a lot to create a picnic and recreation area around it. We pulled out all the stops and will not spare any costs in this project, because it is extremely important that the construction and landscaping are of the highest quality.

You mentioned that over 60% of the houses have already been sold. How many houses from the first phase are still vacant?

We have less than 15 row houses and about 20 twin houses left. But this is a dynamic process and this information changes every day.

There are several new large residential complexes in the area above the Ring Road. What sets River Park apart from the rest?

The truth is that the location of River Park is much better than most of the other complexes. But the main difference is in the quality of the things we do here. Our goal is to make the best possible project for years to come. I do not think that there are many investors in Bulgaria who think about how to make their complexes with the highest possible quality as opposed to increasing their profits.

The quality is visible, the green areas are visible, it is obvious that we are working by the book, and we are not just trying to fit another 10 thousand square meters of floor space for additional profit. Most importantly, the quality of life here will be different and people will love this place.

Last year was a shock to the whole world, but you proceeded with the project very quickly nonetheless. Has COVID-19 changed your thinking and the thinking of buyers in any way?

The plans for River Park were made long before COVID. In fact, at the beginning of the pandemic, at the most difficult moment, wondering if we should start this huge investment, my clients gave me the confidence that I was doing the right thing and I had to keep going. In April last year, I met the first clients, who were then locked in their apartments in the city and really wanted us to start construction faster. Then people realized that this was the right time to make a change in their lives.

Not only me, but everyone who is involved in these types of projects, we see increased interest. People have realized that this is the right investment for a lifetime and so they want to continue their lives - in a community close to nature, to ensure a free childhood for their children.
